The successful candidate will be a member of a team, reporting to the Head of the unit in company office at Nicosia.

He/She will be responsible for analyzing data and recommending changes to higher-level management as appropriate. He/She will also be required to implement changes such as apply security patches and modify security policies.

Responsibilities

In any given week, you may be required to:

• Plan, implement and upgrade security measures and controls

• Establish plans and protocols to protect digital files and information systems against unauthorized access, modification and/or destruction

• Perform cyber-threat assessments and ad-hoc security reviews

• Conduct security architecture assessments and security code scans

• Conduct internal and external security audits

• Contribute on the design, development and implementation of new analytic methods for detecting threats

• Investigate, escalate and coordinate information security incidents

• Anticipate security alerts, incidents and disasters and reduce their likelihood

• Analyze security breaches to determine their root cause

• Recommend and install appropriate tools and countermeasures

• Train fellow employees in security awareness and procedures

Requirements

• Network security methodologies, tactics, techniques and procedures

• SIEM and Threat moddeling solutions

• Information security incident handling and remediation

• Strong overall knowledge on IS/IT and particularly in security

• Strong information security expertise

• Experience with IDS/IPS, Firewall, Anti-virus and Anti-Malware technologies

• Experience in penetration testing tools

• Experience in application security and/or secure development in the fields of .NET and ASP.NET

• TCP/IP, computer networking, routing and switching

• Network protocols and packet analysis tools

• UNIX/Linux, Windows workstation and server administration experience preferred

• C, C++, C#, Python, Java or PHP programming languages preferred

• Writing, teaching and public speaking skills are very important

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English language.

• Eager to learn and continuously develop personal and technical capabilities
