Job Description

Providing ongoing support to the wider business, in addition to liaising with the sister development centre based in Europe.  Providing frontline support is a key component of the role, engaging with the wider business to ensure IT systems and processes run smoothly.

• Demonstrate the ability to recognise and analyse problems as and when they arise and initiate appropriate solutions.

• Install and configure client/server hardware and software

• Administer network and security systems

• Monitor the IT infrastructure

• Develop skills through training and knowledge transfer

• Workstation Support

• Install and Configure software

• Install new hardware servers, Hyper-V configurations

• Maintenance and Patch

• VC Support

• Install IT security tools

• Telephony support

• Back Up – including off sites

• Network Administration

• Mobile telephony

• ISP

• Archive Directory

• File Shares

Required Skills & Experience

• Able to demonstrate a sound network know-how in routing / switching and security technologies

• Knowledge of the use of network services (DHCP, DNS, NAT, NFS) would be an advantage

• Understanding of Cisco network hardware

• Knowledge of the operating systems Windows and / or Linux
